OUR STORY

Nestled at the foot of the mountains in the beautiful Vyeboom Valley, Môreson Farm is a place where natural beauty, heritage, and innovation come together. The first morning sunlight touches the mountain above the farm before illuminating the valley below - a fitting inspiration for the name Môreson, meaning "morning sun."

Originally established as a tree nursery in 1925, the farm moved to its current location in 1929, where the De Wet family prepared the land and planted the first apple trees. Over the decades, Môreson has grown into a thriving apple and pear farming enterprise, expanding with the establishment of Bergrede near Greyton.

Today, Mortru proudly represents the fruit produced by Môreson Trust, supplying premium apples and pears to local and international markets. Under the leadership of CEO, Jannie de Wet, the business continues to build on generations of experience while embracing innovation and sustainable farming.
